Replace Header Text With Image (Academia Theme)
-
Hi Everyone,
Can I replace theme-default header text with a company image or logo? I am using the Academia Theme and would like to try doing this. I have minimal (really very little) experience working with code, etc. I understand I should be able to do this by editing the CSS? Can you guys give me a crash course on how to access that editor and how I can try going about this with this theme? I’m not afraid to try messing around with it but need some initial guidance. Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes and no upgrade is required to do that.
The detailed theme description page is here https://wordpress.com/themes/academica/The suggested header image dimensions are 960 by 300 (width, height). However, the height is flexible so you can upload a smaller cropped image if you wish.
Upload the header image here > Appearance > Header

Thanks for the help. What I was really after was replacing the Header Text with an image, rather than using a company logo as a header image.
