Replacement images for responsive themes

  I’m writing with a general query, rather than one that is specific to my site. We’ve built and customized more than 35 WordPress.com sites. The lack of built-in image replacement options for responsive themes is a real issue. It should be easy to designate a different header graphic for when a site is view on a mobile device, rather than simply resizing the default.   No, I don’t need to be at WordPress.org. We are developers who actively prefer the WordPress.com platform. My enquiry relates to WordPress.com themes.

  Thank you very much for the suggestion. I have added it to our own internal suggestion queue which is reviewed regularly and if an item is found interesting then it is added to a department’s roadmap. You may want to post to the Ideas forum as well:
