Replacement images for responsive themes

  I’m writing with a general query, rather than one that is specific to my site. We’ve built and customized more than 35 WordPress.com sites. The lack of built-in image replacement options for responsive themes is a real issue. It should be easy to designate a different header graphic for when a site is viewed on a mobile device, rather than simply resizing the default.
