replacing domain name

  I would like to rename my blog serbiasurprises.com or have two domain names directing to the same blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  serbiasurprises.com is set as the primary domain for serbiasurprises.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site.

  Will you please expand on what you want to rename the blog to?

  The Site title (blog name) and/or the optional Tagline can be changed on the top of this page at any time. > Settings > General … “save changes”.

  That is exactly where search engine spiders look for the site title and removing it from there can cause issues with getting your content indexed. Note that the site title (blog name) and blog address URL do not have to be the same but it’s better for SEO (search engine optimization) if they are the same.

  Will you also please tell us exactly which two domain names you are referring to?

  You can add as many domains as you want to your blog. Each one requires a separate domain mapping upgrade. Only one of those domains will be the Primary Domain: all your other domains will redirect to the primary one.

  if I register a new domain something example.com in wordpress (but not wordpress.com), can I then replace serbiasurprises.com so that the content in the new one will be the same as it is now in serbiasurprises? I don´t want to make the content all over again.

  Absolutely! You can register as many domains as you like via the Domains page in WordPress.com:

  https://wordpress.com/domains

  You’re then able to set any of your domains up to be your site’s Primary Domain via My Domains:

  https://wordpress.com/my-domains

  I can see that you’ve gone ahead to register serbiantaika.com and set that as your site’s Primary Domain since your first forum post. Great! Visitors to your site will now always be directed to serbiantaika.com. :)

  Would you like me to cancel serbiasurprises.com now to avoid any future confusion? Or would you prefer to just keep that as one of the domains on your account? Let me know and I can help out.

  It´s really working now, I´m happy that I didn´t lose the content!
  I´ll keep serbiasurprises also.
