Replacing name servers

I requested the name servers for https://www.christinacobbart.com be changed so the domain could be transferred to Wix on 1-27-2022 and now Wix says they were changed back on 2-28-2022. How can that be fixed?

Hey there, can you confirm the domain you are working with, and which steps you followed?
I see a domain that was cancelled a while ago, but cancelling a domain is very different from transferring it.
I’m hoping that is not the one you’re referring to, as it would be stuck in Domain Redemption by now. Cancelled domains go through a process much like the one registrars use for expired domains.
If you did cancel it, it was returned to the registry. They’d require a fee to get it back at this point.

Okay, I’ve merged these two issues, and I think I see the problem.
You had asked about pointing a domain to Wix, and that was done a while ago.
Everything was working, but then it seems you cancelled the domain, when you may have meant to transfer it instead.If an analogy helps, it would be like moving to a new apartment, then cancelling your phone service even though you wanted to keep the number. Sorry for the confusion there!
The domain stopped pointing to Wix as soon as you cancelled it. The registry always gives us a few days of a grace period just in case you didn’t really mean to cancel. But at this point the domain is in face in Domain Redemption.
Domain Redemption is a bit like an extended grace period that lasts for several weeks. The registry charges a fee ($80 plus any applicable renewal fees) to get the domain back before it’s set loose for anyone to buy it.
Would you like us to send an invoice for the fee, or would you like to wait it out?
If you pay the fee, we’ll reach out to the registrar to get the name back for you. It would automatically start working with your Wix site again. If they accept domain transfers, you could start the transfer process as well at that point so that your billing is in one place.
I’ll go ahead send an invoice now so we can get started as soon as you pay that, but if you don’t want to get the domain out of redemption and would rather wait it out (note there’s a fair bit of risk with that) let us know.
