I just need to delete one word in a post and replace it with another word (someone’s name, for privacy purposes). I can’t see how to do it.

This doesn’t actually help – I have of course been on editor already but I can’t see from there how to delete one word from a post and replace it with another word.
-
What is the word you’re trying to replace, and the URL of the post or page you’re trying to replace it on?
-
Replacing Luz with Ester https://wordpress.com/page/guirisingranada.wordpress.com/2
my site is just one post I’m afraid! It’s under the heading 1st January 2016 -
Ah, that’s not actually on that page, technically, that’s the problem.
It’s part of this post https://guirisingranada.wordpress.com/2022/03/16/the-start-of-it/ and the page you’re trying to edit just automatically includes your posts.
So, following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/posts/ just edit the post titled “The Start of it” and scroll down to “Luz” where you can delete that and type “Ester” in its place.

That’s exactly what I couldn’t do yesterday, I tried many times! But this morning I closed the site, reopened it and it worked, phew! Thanks.
