replacing predecessor, need access to account

  Hello, I am the tech admin at our high school. My predecessor email is still listed on our admin account. I have access to the account and have attempted to change the email on the admin account to 3 different addresses. Each time it says its sending a verification email, but one is never recieved. I tried mulitple domain emails so i dont think its getting caught in any filters.
