Replacing the wordpress.com feed with a feedburner feed
-
Hello,
I have a wordpress.com hosted blog and my feed is currently located at http://gamenation.wordpress.com/feed . However, I would like to replace this default feed with a feed from FeedBurner so that I can more accurately monitor the subscribers. Is there a way to do this? Thank you!

G’evening
The search box is your friend says drmike and he’s right :) VOILA! http://wordpress.com/forums/search.php?q=feedburner -
Link fixed in your post. Friendly reminder that the ‘gamenation’ bit of your URL replaces the ‘www’ bit. They can not coexist and with any link having both, about 30% of the internet can’t follow said link. (That includes search spiders especially.)
The only thing you can do is give Feedburner the URL of your blog and pass out that URL instead of the original URL.
But, as TT mentions, it’s been discussed many times in the past and a quick search of the forums would have shown you that. :)
Quick aside – Not sure why you’re using an RSS widget to list your own most recent posts. You can do this using the Recent Posts widget and that requires less processing power.
Hope this helps,

Yes, sorry about that, I should have searched first. That is my fault. :( Thanks for the link though.
Thanks for the fix on that link, I didn’t know about that. I appreciate your suggestions, and I just switched to using the “recent posts widget”. That’s too bad you can’t replace the feed link, because people might use “auto-discovery” in the browsers/feed-readers and might not know which one to use. Thanks for the help.
Solved. :)
