Replies to topics not showing up in list of recent posts

I just posted two replies to a msg I started about a half-day ago, wihch two of you have graciously replied to. But the list of posts only shows the original msg, not the fact that I just posted responses to it. The number of posts to the msg is correct, but not the fact that I’m now (at the moment) the “last poster”. So how would anyone know that something new has been added, and that I’m still trying to find help for what I originally asked about?

OK. I just tried to cut/paste the main URL for my blog to the Website field in my Account details, like someone told me to. I don’t know what that’ll do but I appreciate your trying to help me in any case!

Yours says “member” and mine says “moderator” and staff employees will be designated with a different color and say “happiness engineer” or “theme wrangler” or something like that…
But are you saying that your replies are not appearing in these forums? I’m not sure I’m understanding what you are asking here?

Thanks 1tess. I did see the replies on how to activate widgets. I never thought of that until you folks told me! I appreciate it!
As for not seeing my replies: No, I’m not saying I DON’T want my most recent reply to show up in the message list. I have no objection to my replies showing up.
I was saying I don’t understand why my thread does not seem to appear at the top of the “most recent” list once I’ve posted a response. On other forums I’m used to, once I post a reply to a thread, the generic thread list shows that message at the top of its most recently posted list, and I didn’t know why that didn’t appear to be happening here.
In any case, what I really liked about your response is where you told me how to find my original posts! Now I don’t need to plow down through page after page of old msgs to find out where my thread started!
