"Reply" button on e-mail notification of comment returns viewer to wrong comment

  A commenter writes: When I click on the “Reply” button in my email alert to a new comment on you blog – it should take me to the person’s comment. It doesn’t it takes me someone else’s who didn’t comment – or to the end of the comment section. This is a failure in the blog software – or a conflict between blog and browser. Not an unusual problem these days. I help manage college online courses and these issues can be crippling. Using “find” works, but shouldn’t be necessary if WordPress is doing its job. Thanks.

  I should add, I believe the commenter is using Mac-OSX10.6.8 with FireFox as a browser.

  Could you please ask the commenter to contact us directly at http://wordpress.com/contact . It’s better this way to troubleshoot the issue they are having.
