  (My 1st time) I’ve responded to a blog I liked with a comment (well .. compliment really) .. don’t see my reply posted .. it says ‘Your comment is awaiting moderation’ .. What does that mean?? (I waited for AGES and situ didn’t change from that – too long – my data’s nearly run out .. and now I’ve had to exit – does that mean my comoment is LOST ?

  When a comment is awaiting moderation, that means that your comment was submitted to the website, but the website owner must approve it before it’s visible to the public on the live site.

  Your comment has not been lost.

  Thank you so much. . really helpful. . glad to know my words didn’t get lost! It is a good safety setup I can see that now. And I’ve saved the helpful link you’ve given me about Discussion Settings to study .. and will then hopefully get brave and have a go at settings on my own site. Cheers 😊
