Reply configuration

  I have 2 blogs… and when replying in the one titled ‘Name That Opus’ – I would like to ‘reply’ with the picture form that one and the title of it on the reply… Is it possible to configure it such that each blog has the correct reply signature?

  If you’re referring to your Gravatar, you can add additional email addresses and images to your Gravatar account, but all will still be tied to one account. If you wish, you can sign up for a second Gravatar account with an entirely different account name, using a different email address from the one associated with your initial Gravatar/WordPress.com account, and use that account for commenting. We even offer a “change” link to change how you reply.

  Hi – thanks for your time in responding to my query.

  I have not as yet done the Gravatar thing… don’t know if I like it yet… but will investigate. Let me attempt to better explain my question!

  1] I have 2 BLOGS – one it titled ‘Tales of the ocean city’ – I did that one first and it seems to be my (identity) – The other is ‘Name That Opus’. I have paid for both of the separately and they represent 2 different enterprises!
  2] Love the wordpress system!
  3] Heres the deal: When I reply to a pst in the ‘name that opus’ blog, it automatically give my identity as talesoftheoceancity withe the icon pic that goes with that. But what I wish to do is reply to a Name That Opus comment as Name that opus with the icon pic that goes with that blog… I had to go ahead and retype the identity… but it retains the wild fantasy art picture from my ‘tales of theocean city enterprise… they don;t go together.
  4] So my question is… can I… in the ‘Name That Opus’ blog create a (signature?) – such that replies to comments on posts are set up properly?

  Hi again,

  If you want two separate identities for your two blogs, you will need to create two separate WordPress.com accounts. That way you can comment on each blog as a different entity.

  If you create a new WordPress.com account, I can assist you in moving the associated blog over to that account, so each blog has a separate blog owner/identity. Let me know if you decide to do this, and once the new account is created, reply here and let me know the new username and we can go from there.
