Reply to replies gone

  People can now only reply to the original comment, not to subsequent replies to that comment. Is this a fault or a change does anyone know? Will be terrible if this has changed.

  Have you confirmed that none of your settings for threaded comments have changed?
  How many levels is the setting set to?
  How does the level setting compare to what you are seeing on your blog?

  Settings> Discussion >

  Enable threaded (nested) comments ___ levels deep
