replying to comments in the reader

  In the past, the only way to reply to a comment that was too far nested in a post was to go to the reader and reply there. That no longer works. As soon as you start to type something, after pressing the reply button, the whole thing just disappears after a few keystrokes. I’ve noticed this for some time now and thought somebody would soon get it fixed the way it worked in the past. Is there a new way to do this?
