Replying to unwanted comment
-
How to reply to unwanted comment if email does not work (email address provided was wrong)? What happen if I hit ‘reply’ without approving the comment? Will my reply appear on the thread?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Anyone who sent a comment containing bogus email address (common characteristic of spammers and trolls) does not deserve your concern not your response. Why click and approve the comment? Why reply to nit at all? I would delete it.
-
To answer your question your reply will not show on the thread if it’s not approved
Please note that when leaving a reply the comment is approved by default when the author makes a comment reply.

Thank you, slikbonez.
I understand the first line. But the second line is ???. Would you explain more?
Do you mean that when I reply to the unwanted comment, the reply will not show up, but the unwanted comment will show up on the thread by default? -

Setting the technical issues aside, why would you reply to an unwanted comment you are not going to post. that does not make sense to me. I would delete the comment and get on with my blogging.

@TT I’ve seen it where the blog author didn’t post the unwanted comment but posted a reply to tell the person off. (Rolls Eyes about unethical comment behavior)

It’s not logical or IMHO ethical to publish a reply to a comment that doesn’t exist on the blog.
