Reporting a web design company to WordPress for malpractice?
-
I had a disastrous experience with a UK based WordPress web development company who tried to bankrupt my business because I criticised them. They took 4 months to build a site they said would take 3 weeks. When I complained they broke the checkout a few days after i launched killing my business. I know they did it deliberately as they blamed it on a plug-in update (which they should have tested offline and which wasn’t true anyway) and they refused to roll the site back to correct it leaving me with no sales for 3 week over Christmas.
I can’t afford to take them to court right now so wondered if I can report them to WordPress for malpractice or something.
Any advice welcome.

Hi Ian,
queenspark.wine is a WordPress.org site hosted by Unified Layer, rather than WordPress.com:
WordPress.com is not affiliated with any third party web development agencies so I’m afraid we won’t be able to intervene. In this case, you will need to seek guidance from elsewhere as we have no involvement with the company you were working with or the site.
Best of luck in getting some resolution on this.
