Reporting a website

  Dears,

  I found a website powered by Word Press which is using for one of its articles one of my family’s pictures from a private event. I am trying to contact them, or to report it to you, however I am not able to do it. I have created my account just for this and still cannot do it.

  Can you please guide me and support with this?

  Just to clarify, this footer is usually associated with sites using the standalone WordPress software so may not be hosted here on WordPressdotcom. WordPressdotcom Terms of Service team can only assist with sites hosted here.

  WordPress is publishing software but does not host websites itself. Site owners can install and use the WordPress software on a web hosting provider, like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Pressable, etc. In order to understand where the site you want to report is hosted, you can do a WHOIS domain search to find that site’s web hosting provider. Once you have that information you can file a complaint/DMCA take down request with that web hosting provider directly.
