Reporting Abuse from a WordPress blog

How do I report a blog that is stealing copyrighted material and publishing it without permission, attribution, or compensation?
Everything I post is being stolen by a WordPress blog called Gary Blog Travel. Go to their blog and see their latest post; they even published a post acknowledging that they are ripping off other blog’s material.
Since they are using WordPress software in violation of the Terms, is there anything WordPress can do to take them down?

the blog you have cited is not hosted at wordpress.com, so there’s no terms of service violation. You will have to pursue this with the host of the site.
I have to say, though, the most recent post, ‘Who is “Gary Blog Travel”?’ is pretty damn funny (if you’re not the one being ripped off).

Gary Blog Travel does not offer original content. We rip off the copyrighted work of other bloggers.
I didn’t find it funny. I thought it was an appalling post written by a coward, who is so gutless that he or she has provided no “About” information or “Contact” information.

The blog in question (I removed the link by the way) is hosted with an ISP called hopone.net. Please direct your complaint towards them.
All wordpress is is software that folks can use. Automattic has no legal recourse to stop folks from using their software. Sort of like doing after Ford motor cars since they’ve been used for getaway cars in bank roberies.
wp.com is just a hosting company like hopone.net. The terms that you mention is only for those blogs hosted here at wp.com.

I took that post to be written by someone whose content is being ripped off, much like changes made to images that are being scraped. It is meant to make the scraper look like an idiot, which it succeeded in doing. -
