Reporting Plagiarism, how?
-
This site http://www.topnewssport.com/
plagiarized this article
from Hockey Wilderness
Where is the mechanism to report this, and why isn’t it easier to find?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That site at http://www.topnewssport.com/ is not hosted here by WordPress.COM and we cannot assist with it. Any plagiarism must be reported by the person whose content was plagiarized directly to the web host. topnewssport.com is hosted by DreamHost

Granted my computer skills are lacking, but the sample page indicates that it was set up through wordpress and I guess the user payed for private hosting/domain.
Is the non-response from WordPress because they can’t do anything, or because of apathy?

I provided an accurate response.
There are two very different kinds of WordPress software. There are two separate support forums. Read about them here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Note that I did not have to provideyopu8 with the name of the web host for that site but was kind enough to do so. Here’s more kindness for you:

Hello there, I have been told that a company maybe stealing my material. I was told to see what I can do about this from wordpress since they are the host and the steps I should take.
So far this other other blog site has been posting the the same topic and at times the same materials.

In 90% of these cases WordPress is NOT the host. WordPress is only the software they are using. But if they’re the host you’re in a good position because WP.com staffers take an aggressive approach to thieves.

I am the managing editor of Houston Family Magazine. The admin of a WordPress-powered website is lifting articles from our online publication and pasting them into his/her site.
To make matters worse, he/she is
1. not crediting the magazine
2. not paying the writers
3. garbling some of the words in the articles in such a way that we are getting calls from angry interviewees and writers. There is no contact on the offending website, so I am reaching out to you for direction.
The offending website is
