  As you can see I’ve been dealing with this issue for a long time however, the problem has never been fully answered and my nameservers have never been redirected to my hosting site because, each time I’ve tried to change the nameservers I have gotten too frustrated and given up. I am not technically inclined but keep trying nonetheless!

  Here is the problem:

  I purchased my Domain name from WordPress several years ago athomewithrebecka.com

  User: athomewrebecka
  original URL: http://athomewithrebeckadotcom.wordpress.com/
  ns1601.websitewelcome.com
  ns1602.websitewelcome.com

  The site is still there but I cannot access the dashboard. I no longer have the email associated with the account from 4 years ago, and no longer have the password.

  I can see the site after searching the URL, I can access Manage my Blogs, but when I try to make changes in admin, I get notification that I am not authorized admin.

  Also, http://athomewithrebeckatest.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
  which houses some of my photos.. I can access the STORE-Domains, then Add Domain to blog, I get this reply when I try to add the domain: “This domain has already been mapped to a WordPress.com blog.”

  I thought this was the dashboard I needed to make the nameserver changes, from the issues I faced above and as far as I can tell, it’s not!

  I’ve tried signing out of the other account but without the password or current email I cannot access athomewrebecka admin.

  I have already followed all of the instructions given to my by your staff which I greatly appreciate however, I’m stuck once more in limbo without access to redirect my nameservers.

  I’m sorry you continue to have issues with this.

  As staff-blorbo explained in the previous thread you posted (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/update-nameservers-for-athomewithrebeckacom?replies=14#post-1262200 ), you have two different usernames on WordPress.com, and the username athomewithrebecka does not own the domain or the underlying WordPress.com blog. We cannot make any changes to any of our sites or the upgrades without explicit consent from the user listed as the owner on the account.

  You will need to log in as the user for the WordPress.com account that owns that blog in order to manage your upgrade or modify your name servers.

  If you are having difficulty doing so, we will need to hear from the user who does own those upgrades. If that is indeed you, and you would like further assistance, please log out of this WordPress.com account and log into your other account, and then post in this thread, to verify that you do own that account.

  If you cannot remember the username/email for that account, please go to https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and click on the “Need more help?” link to contact our account recovery team.
