Republish post without losing previous "comments" and "likes"

  Hi all. Anyone know how you can republish post without losing previous “comments” and “likes”?. For example, in this blog: https://abozdar.wordpress.com/2016/01/30/divine-beauty/
  you can see that although the post has current date there are “comments” on an earlier date (year 2013). My question is, how is it done?

  I suspect the user changed the publish date to something more recent. Keep in mind that this will change the URL. So anywhere else you have shared the original URL will no longer point to the post.
