Republishing Old Posts

  I wanted to republish an old blog post and have it go out to subscribers with email notification. I set it up to republish this morning, but not only did an email notification not go out, the post didn’t move up to the top of the list of my blog posts. It is like I didn’t republish it. Am I doing something wrong?

  @savedbylight4him we only send out notifications for each post once. If you change the status to draft or private, then publish it again later, no notifications will go out.

  It sounds like you intended more to just copy the post into a new post and publish again. You could do that, or you might consider writing a post about this post, then linking to it in reference. Or, publish the same thing again but with some minor modifications. It’s up to you.

  Marking the post as published again though won’t do anything but allow public access to it.
