Repurchasing domain

  Hello,
  I cancelled my subscription with WordPress after purchasing the domain: alexandragarcia.fr for the blog:
  alexandragarciafr.wordpress.com
  This was back in April and the domain is still not available. It says “This domain is parked”.
  Could I repurchase the domain through WordPress then transfer it?
  Thank you!

  Hello there,

  It’s totally possible to re-purchase that and transfer it.

  As the domain would be repurchased it would be subject to an ICANN imposed 60 day transfer lock, but you can use custom DNS setting to point the domain to another provider.
