Request

Hello there good morning to you WordPress managers. I would like to present my complain about superstitious Ads on my blog from Google. My blog is a secular blog for secular readers and I do not want to see mystical advertisements of my site; it is offensive to me and my readers. I do not want my followers to be emotionally uncomfortable. Now, I know that until I get a domain I cannot control the ads but I am kindly requesting WordPress to hide all mystical ads on my site until I buy a domain from you guys.
    Thanks! Good day.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, I’ve tagged WordPress.com staff to help you with this issue. You’ll likely receive a response within a few hours from a staff member: https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

Hope this gets resolved soon. :)

  • Hi @camidrcs, unfortunately we’re not able to select which types of ads to display on your site… we can only turn ads on or off.

Ads help cover the cost of hosting a free site, so we automatically remove them with all paid plans (unless you then choose to display ads to earn money as part of our WordAds program). You can see pricing at My Site > Plans.

I do want to note as well, folks will often see ads based on their browsing history, so it’s possible that not all of your readers are seeing those ads anyway. I hope this helps.
