Request a refund and cancel a domain

    I just purchased a personal plan for $36 but I would like to cancel it and request a full refund as well as transfer the domain name or pause the process of setting it up.

    You can do this by going to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases, clicking the plan which should say WordPress.com Personal, and click Cancel Subscription.

    NOTE: You only receive a full refund if you are cancelling within a 30 day limit of purchasing this plan. Refunds should show in your account in 5-7 business days.

    as well as transfer the domain name or pause the process of setting it up.

    For this, it’s situational depending on where you’re attempting to transfer it to. Where will you be transferring your domain name to?

    I would like to cancel it and request a full refund as well as transfer the domain

    I just wanted to add that now the domain has been cancelled with your plan, you won’t be able to transfer it. You will need to repurchase the domain when it becomes available again — this should be around a week, but isn’t an exact timeframe so it could take longer.
