Request; embed for screentoaster.com, noteflight.com

One of the things holding me back from committing to wordpress.com is the way there are only certain things you can embed. For instance, a bit of a tragedy not being able to embed screentoaster.com; particulary ironic when that site has wordpress how-to videos on it! Also would have very much liked to be able to embed noteflight.com for music notation.

I just tested screentoaster.com as a Vodpod upload and it did not work. That noteflight.com site looks extremely interesting! I bookmarked it and I really wish I new a work-around for it.
You’re quite right – they both qualify for WordPress.com if I may say so…

The owner of WordPress, Matt Mullenweg is a jazz musician and might be persuaded to look into this. Perhaps a formal support request would be in order?

I think you should, tedthetrumpet. These are both very fine suggestions.
You could also address VodPod and ask if they can come up with a solution for embeds here at WordPress.com. They have a fine forum of their own, the staff seems to take their cooperation with WP serious and the forum mods usually answer…

Thanks, I’ll look into these suggestions when I have a little more time. (Inconveniently, screentoaster wasn’t working for me *at all* yesterday for some reason I couldn’t figure, so I’m a bit held back at the moment on testing that one.)
