"Request Feedback" button has disappeared

You appear to have upgraded your interface (to me it’s not an upgrade but is more difficult to use). In the new interface, I can not find how to send reviewers a link to review a pre-publication draft blog post. Please help.
What would REALLY help us, on another topic, is for you to make scheduling posts easier. E.g., a monthly calendar, and we can drag and drop posts between dates easily. That would rock. Now it takes numerous clicks to reschedule individual posts, and then you have to redo all in the queue when you add one in the middle. Exhausting.
Thank you.

Hi Dianne!
In the new interface, I can not find how to send reviewers a link to review a pre-publication draft blog post. Please help.
You should still see the Request Feedback feature in your Writing Helper module below the content box in your Post editor. If you’re not seeing it, please click on Screen Options in the top, right-hand corner of your Post editor page. Select Writing Helper, so the module appears. Now, you can scroll to the area below your content box to click your Request Feedback button.

The monthly calendar idea is great! I suggest adding it to our Ideas forum. Our developers really like to see what features would help our users. If enough folks love your suggestion, it’s a possibility that it could be added in the future. Here’s a link to that forum:

Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!

Thank you for your answer, thatrobyn, but I don’t see any of what you describe—no Writing Helper Module now, no Screen Options, either. Neither in Safari nor in Firefox on the Mac.
I am happy to send you a screen shot, but I don’t see how to upload that here. This is getting very frustrating as I need to be able to publish some new posts. Our phone is 913-901-0243. Thanks!

Dianne,
Please click this link: culturaldetective.wordpress.com/wp-admin.
Then, click Posts → Add New.
You should see an screen similar to this:
https://cloudup.com/cNrGO8TlSr8If you do not, I would like to see your screenshot, so I can better troubleshoot the issue for you. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there. Just let me know what there’s something I should look at.
If you need, the page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

Thank you. Doing a new post in the way you’ve described gives me the old interface, which does work. At least today. That’s terrific.
However, clicking “new post” in any other way, and there are a multitude of ways now, does not give me access to the tools. Is WP still in the process of upgrading the new interface? I have uploaded the screen shot to our media library. It’s at

Hi there Dianne! I’m very glad that the old interface worked for you. Thanks for letting me know.
Is WP still in the process of upgrading the new interface?…The new interface is so very disappointing.
It would be so helpful for me to know exactly what does/doesn’t work for you. Our developers are always working so hard to make our users happy, and specific feedback is helpful. Let me know and I can pass your issues along.
Wishing you all the best!

I explained what doesn’t work above–no buttons to let others review/edit, for example. I have also uploaded the screen shot. What is it that’s not clear? PLEASE do not switch completely over to the new interface or we will have to switch platforms, as this needs to be resolved. Thanks and have a good one.

Hey Dianne,
You’re absolutely correct; the “Request Feedback” option is not available in the new post editor at http://wordpress.com/post. As Robyn mentioned, we’re continuously working on improving the new editor. In this case, it’s not so much of “doesn’t work” as “isn’t included”.
If you would like to use the “Request Feedback” button, you’ll need to do so through your Dashboard here:
http://culturaldetective.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
The Dashboard editor won’t be disappearing on you anytime soon!
