    Dear WordPress Support Team,

I am writing on behalf of EXEM Corporation, the owner and administrator of the domain maxgauge.com, which is currently operated as a WordPress-based website by our U.S. subsidiary.

Due to internal organizational changes and the departure of the previous website administrator, we are currently unable to access the WordPress account associated with our website. We are also experiencing service disruption, and the site is currently inaccessible. We suspect this may be related to a lapsed WordPress plan or login issue.

    To clarify:

The domain maxgauge.com was purchased through Gabia and is actively managed by EXEM.

The website itself was created and is running on WordPress.

The account credentials used to manage the site are currently unavailable due to staff turnover.

The website is still in use for ongoing business activities in the U.S., and restoring access is urgent.

We kindly request your guidance on how we can proceed with:

    Verifying ownership of the site.

Recovering or transferring the admin account to a new responsible party.

Resolving any issues preventing site access (e.g., payment, suspension, or hosting plan expiration).

Please let us know what information or documentation is required to validate our ownership and regain access.

We appreciate your support and look forward to your prompt assistance.

We can’t help as that site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. You must contact your hosting provider to solve the problem with the database connection.

    Hello there, @chsb8e5d27f4de1!

I took a look at your site and noticed that it’s not hosted on WordPress.com but is actually a self-hosted WordPress.org site, just like @staartmees mentioned. You can see it here:

    https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/maxgauge.com

In this case, you’ll need to contact your host provider so they can assist you with this.

You can also ask your question on the WordPress.org community forums at this link:

     https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

That forum is perfect for sites like yours that use WordPress software but aren’t hosted with WordPress.com.

If you’re curious about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, this guide explains it quite well:

Please let us know if you have any questions or need any extra help, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
