Request for Booking System plugin

    Hi guys :) I’m thinking of using wordpress.com for my e-commerce business. It offers product rentals and so it would be awesome to have a good booking system plugin.

    WordPress.org has several, including simplybook.me, Bookings, Booking System (Pro) and Beds24 Online booking.

    I know e-commerce is a new feature on wordpress.com but it’s just something to think about. If I had the plugin, I’d set up my business here today. I’m ready to go so let me know what you think guys!

    For doing e-commerce business on WordPress.com, you’ll have to upgrade your site to an e-commerce site from the store >> http://store.wordpress.com/plans/business/?ref=ecom

    The plugin you are searching for is available in this upgrade. After upgrading,you can activate and connect your store under eCommerce Plugins in your dashboard. After activating, you will be guided through the rest of the setup process.

    @thefreedomofstyle – the support doc for ecommerce lists all the options available with that upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/

    I’ve also seen other people sign up with a booking website elsewhere and then use a button or custom menu to link visitors to that site to make bookings. Just make sure whether that’s allowed on wp.com for the type of service you’re offering.
