request for refund

    Hi there, I would like a refund if this is possible. I have clicked on purchases but there is not any billing info, receipts or option to refund. Please can you help/ Thanks so much

    We have absolutely no history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.

    If you enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ we should be able to help you with this.

    The transaction ID needed will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

    WordPress XXXXXXXXXX

    I entered this and it said receipt found but when I click view receipt it states no receipt found! [redacted]
    Could you help with this? Thanks in advance

    You would need to check in an incognito window or logged out of your WordPress.com account as the link to view the receipt will prompt you to log into the correct user account that owns the upgrade. If you’re already logged into WordPress.com the link will go to your receipts page, which the account you’re posting from has no receipts so that’s why you saw that message.

    Since you posted the transaction ID (which I’ve since redacted since this is a public support forum), we can take care of this for you. Note that you made the original purchase using @googlemail.com instead of @gmail.com which is why you’re not seeing the purchase under this account – while Google considers that to be the same email address, it is seen as a different address here at WordPress.com.

    If we cancel and refund the plan, this will also cancel the domain lauracolepsychology.com meaning you would no longer own it. Canceling a domain doesn’t immediately release it to be registered somewhere else – there could be a wait up to 80 days before it is eligible to be purchased again.

    If you can confirm you want to cancel and lose control of that domain, we’ll process that refund for you.

    If you want to keep that domain, we have other options – just let us know!
