Request for Refund and Confirmation of Account Cancellation
-
Hi Team,
I’ve created this account just so I can get in contact with you regarding my old account registered with my old email (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I am writing to request a refund and confirmation of the cancellation of my WordPress account (email visible only to moderators and staff).
Reason for Refund:
I canceled this account over three months ago, but I have recently been charged $323.40 (USD). The transaction number for this charge is [redacted]Account Details:
Unfortunately, I do not have access to my account because my email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) is no longer in use. Despite multiple attempts to recover my account, I’ve found it impossible due to my lack of access to this old email address.Request:
Given the circumstances, I kindly request a refund of the $323.40 USD and confirmation that my account has been fully canceled to prevent further charges. Additionally, please confirm that no further deductions will be made from my payment method. This situation has been incredibly frustrating, and I believe that many others in my position would feel the same. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and support. Please let me know if there is any additional information required to process this refund.
Best regards,

You can simply use the Transaction ID to restore access to the account you are talking about – https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#account-recovery-help

Hello,
We’re unable to address account recovery issues through the free support forums. However, if you have transaction IDs associated with charges on this account, you can utilize the Account Recovery form to verify ownership of the site. WordPress.com support will then be able to assist you further. You can access the form here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Please provide as much information as possible, including an email address where Support can reach you. The transaction ID typically appears on your bank statement as “WordPress” followed by a ten-digit alphanumeric code (e.g., WordPress XXXXXXXXXX).
If you only have a partial transaction ID, you may need to contact your bank directly to obtain the full ID required.
I hope this explanation clarifies things for you! Let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
