    Hi. I want to get a dead name i.e. pomy.wordpress.com – It’s not active since long. I want to start blogging through this name. I’m pomy and my handler of twitter is pomy. Can you please do it for me?

    Hi there,

    A WordPressdotcom site does not “expire” regardless of when the last post was made. You might be able to contact the site owner through an open comment or contact form and ask if they are willing to transfer the site to you. If they answer positively, they can follow these instructions to do so: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

    If the site owner doesn’t answer you, that is the end of the story. There is nothing further that WordPressdotcom will do to assist you to obtain that site address. You’ll have to choose another one.
