Request Set to Private
-
I would like to request an old blog to be set to private. I have my username and password but no access to any of the 2fa options. The website contains personal information. Can you help me set it to private?

Hi @espressonengshotlawn, since you’ve lost access to your 2FA methods, only WordPress.com staff can help recover your account and change the site’s privacy.
Please reach out here: Account Recovery Form
Fill it with as much proof of ownership as possible (username, email, payment details, domain info). Once access is restored, you can set the blog to private from Settings → Privacy.

We can help you set the site to Private as you’ve requested. However, we’ll need the site address of the site you’d like to set to Private.
You also mentioned that you have the username and password for the account. If you still have access to the email address connected to the WordPress.com account associated with the site, you can fill out the account recovery form here, and we’ll be able to further assist you with the 2FA:
