anyone interested in a roundabout solution for having the sphere related content widget in wordpress.com blogs?
you have to do it manually, though – just like you have to do social bookmarking options under wp.com blog posts!
the process is not hard at all. if you are a die-hard sphere divotee, then try it out!
looks like the real thing too! :D
-
for some reasons the sphere relates my “war is over” post with some porn content. wouldn’t recommend to use sphere at all.
-
related with porn content?
um, do you have the tag “porn” for that post of yours? i know that you use that tag to saturate the tag porn, so that porn is not porn anymore – if i am not mistaken.
maybe sphere takes tags/categories for posts into account too and finds related content likewise?
-
it had happen before I started to use a ‘porn’ tag.
from the “Google Webmaster” tools it was clear then that the keywords used by the Sphere to relate that post with some *gay* porn was: “New York Times Square”.
he-he.

I would like to use the Sphere service for my blog as well. http://siriustrouble.wordpress.com/

Hve you made your request to staff using the “support” button on the top right hand corner of any admin side blog page on weekdays 9-5PM Pacific time?
-
When you make your request do be mindful that the sphere widget uses javascript which we cannot use on our blogs here at wordpress.com so the likelihood of its introduction doesn’t look good http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/javascript-can-i-use-that-on-my-blog/

If you want it, then you should contact support as it doesn’t do much good posting your request here. http://wordpress.com/contact-support/ (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm Pacific time) or using the “support” button in the upper right of your dashboard. -

I’ll try to request a sphere plugin from support but I work during that time period. I agree that this would be an invaluable plugin. Sphere is among the best of its type, and may be the very best.

If you have feedburner, you already have it. You can place it in your feed, and/or within a post.
