  I understand that followers cannot be transferred. Thanks!

  Hello! May I please have my email subscribers and wordpress followers transferred to my new self-hosted site too? That would make me SO happy! I had a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach when I thought I lost them without warning them first!

  My blog was at http://granolameetsgrits.wordpress.com. Now I am at just http://granolameetsgrits.com, hosted through GoDaddy. I just installed Jetpack.

  Thank you SO much! I am so relieved that this can be done!

  Hi there, you don’t appear to have followers of subscribers on granolameetsgrits.wordpress.com, please check your stats: https://granolameetsgrits.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats

  So unfortunately, there is nothing to migrate :( I wish you good luck and many subscribers once you officially launch your new site!

  Anyone else needing help with migrating subscribers: please note that we can only transfer email subscribers from your WordPress.com blog to your self–hosted blog since the rest of your WP.com followers are following your blog through Reader.

  (They can follow your self–hosted blog through WordPress.com Reader by clicking Edit List next to Blogs I Follow.)
