Request to add a new theme to WordPress.com's portfolio

  Respectfully, may I ask that the Olya theme be added to wordpress.com’s premium theme portfolio? Not sure if this is the right channel for such a request but can’t seem to find anything else to use. I believe Olya would have wide appeal, featuring as it does an extremely flexible and universal image slider/rotator. It will be of particular interest to Vimeo users (like myself) who are currently unable to display the Vimeo rotator on wordpress.com. Have a look and see what you think.   I have just purchased WordPress Premium. I have also purchased a third party theme from Themeforest. When I go to my dashboard and then Appearance >Themes>Manage Themes I do not see an area where I can click “install”. I have a theme currently that I had a demo called Even After. I do not see how to change my theme or remove this one. Can someone please help this newbie!!!!

  Hi Lisa,

  Themeforest and other third-party themes can’t be installed on WordPress.com. Those themes are for self-hosted versions of WordPress only. If you’d like to read more about the differences, check out WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

  You can choose from over 200 themes in the WordPress.com theme directory.

  Thanks Kathryn for your response. I did not realize I was “tacking” onto someone else’s thread. I’m a little tired from trying all night to figure out why I could not use the theme I just purchased. Respectfully, I will learn how to use the forum better in the future.
