  hi,

  I wanted to start my portfolio site from scratch, so I thought it would be better if I delete my old site and used the same name to start a new site, only to realize that I couldn’t use the same name. so I want to restore my old site stefanusapp.wordpress.com and I hope you can help me.

  You can do so by clicking on the link in the email you received when you deleted your site.

  Hi staartmees,

  I did get an email, but the only link was my old site link.
  They told me to reply to the email if there was a problem, though. so, i guess i’d try that.

  Hi @stefanusapp, you did the right thing to contact us immediately.

  I was able to restore the site for you. If you just want to start over with the front page, I’d recommend adding a page here:
  https://wordpress.com/page

  You can pick a template if you’d like, or start blank, and make whatever changes you need. Once it’s published, you can make it the front page with these steps:

  Set the Homepage

  sorry for the hassle. this is the first time i use wordpress
  next time I’ll read the instructions more carefully so that something like this won’t happen again.
