Request to revert my current domain name to the old one

    Hello, I am rphl_a and I’m currently working on a blog using WordPress.com at raphaelacilo.wordpress.com

    Yesterday, the domain that I picked, which is rphla.wordpress.com, was changed to the current one, raphaelacilo.wordpress.com by me.

    Is there a way to revert to the old domain, which is the rphla.wordpress.com domain, which I think can be remembered better by other people.

    Just found out that there would be no way to recover deleted wordpress.com domains, as stated in this post “https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/deleted-domain-name-by-mistake/”

    Hi there,

    As you only did this yesterday we can still restore rphla.wordpress.com for you. I’ve done that now and you’ll see it listed under My Sites again.

    However, it’s not possible to reverse the site address change, so if you want to go back to using that address for your site, you’ll need to manually move your content back using the export/import feature under My Site ->Tools.

    I have successfully moved the contents from rphlaofficial.wordpress.com to rphla.wordpress.com. I’m marking this topic as resolved.
