  Hello – I signed up for a wordpress.com not knowing that I couldn’t run ads on my site. I paid for the premium features and bought my own domain, http://www.positivecircle.me

  I see now that if I want to switch to the wordpress.org it will cost me $129.00 – What does this cost provide. Also, if I understand it correctly I will then have to pay a hosting site to host my page? Correct?

  Switching to a self-hosted site doesn’t have to cost anything. The $129 fee that you are thinking of is for a service called Guided Transfer:

  But it is quite possible to make the switch yourself. We have a guide to doing so here:

  As we only support blogs hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new blog–including the importing of the file–must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:
