Requesting a Website Reset

  Good afternoon, I’m a website developer that was contracted by KG Barbershop to rebuild their website. The admin email address goes to an invalid account, and during my WordPress cleanup I encountered a corrupted plugin that caused the entire server to crash. Luckily, I backed up the entire site, so I still have all the pages, images etc.

  I need help fully resetting this hosted instance to vanilla WP with a new admin account tied directly to the Billing email address. Any support is greatly appreciated.

  Hi there,

  The website you’ve posted is using the open-source WordPress.org and this forum is for the hosted WordPress.com platform. They’re very similar, but two separate things.

  The web host looks to be Network Solutions. Contacting them to gain access to their admin panel will likely be your best course of action.

  Once you have access, you can disable all of the plugins to start troubleshooting or resetting.
