Requesting access to a protected blog

    I am trying to request access to a protected blog. The web prompt encourages me to either create an account or log in to do so. So I have tried both. After I log in, I am prompted to log in again. And again. And again. And again….

      How have addressed this problem?

    I only created an account to visit one person’s site and am not excited about the idea of being asked to pay just to get assistance with a very obvious bug. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem too before, and it even happened on my own blog 😅 I think it’s cache issue.

    Anyway, have you tried to use different browser? I used Safari before, and yes, it asked me to re-login again and again. I used Chrome afterwards, and it went well.

    One thing to notice too is if the site owner/admin is giving your WP account/e-mail permission to see their website. So you need two steps: WordPress account and site owner’s permission.

    You’re welcome. You might try cleaning the cache/browsing data; as cache and browsing data can cause that re-login issue too.

    Just make sure that the website owner/blogger/admin is giving you permission to view their blog (you need to contact them personally for this) if the website is set to Private/Protected.
