Require Login Plugin

Available here: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-require-login/
I’d like this to be added because it’d enable me to have a private blog available for my friends and family. Would this be something wordpress could add, or would I need to take the blog elsewhere?
Thanks,
CharlesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We aren’t allowed plugins on wordpress.COM, so whatever you read about wordpress.ORG isn’t applicable (well a lot of it).
To make your blog private go to Settings -> Reading and then click on “I would like my site to be private…” and save that change. This means only you and whoever you add/give permission to can view the blog.
To view the blog your family and friends would require wordpress.COM accounts. Which they can create pretty easily.
You can then add people to your blog by following these instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/#invite-people-to-view-your-private-blog

You can set up your WordPress.com site to be entirely Private, available only to people you invite to view it. They will have to set up a WordPress.com account in order to do so. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
