Required WordPress/Gravatar "Authorization" to edit Gravatar image?
-
I have in the past blogged using WordPress, which is why I have a WordPress account.
I am an active user of Github, which is why I have a Gravatar (long time ago).
Now I was looking into changing my Gravatar image, but am (was) faced with a screen asking me to “authorize” the connection between my Gravatar and WordPress accounts. Of course I click “No” (or whatever the button said), but nothing happened. Clicking it several times, nothing happens.
Then I clicked the Authorize by mistake. And it was a mistake. Something happened though and I’m redirected to my Gravatar page.
But I never wanted to “authorize” the connection between the two accounts. It’s ridiculous – why would I need to connect two (hopefully disjoint) user accounts in order to use the services provided when I have one of the accounts?
I haven’t used WordPress in a while, so most likely something changed that I’m not aware of, but I’d really like to roll back the authorization – it was not intentional, and I believe it’s unnecessary.
Does anyone know how to do this? Or if this is possible at all?
Thanks
