Reregistering an expired domain
-
We have a domain that expired. Is there a way to reclaim it, and if so how?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Don’t you think it would have helped to state the domain name? Only giving out the correct address of http://yogashinenipomo.com/ in someone elses thread isn’t the best way to get help. Multiple threads confuse and complicate things. I have added modlook to the tag box on the right and hopefully staff will respond in due course (but note it is the weekend).

Our records show that yogashinenipomo.com expired on 26-nov-2016.
Domain expiration is a lengthy and complicated process that takes about 80 days. During this time, your domain may be put up for auction or sold on back-order.
You can learn more about domain expiration here:
The good news is that we may still be able to recover your domain if it has not yet been deleted or purchased by someone else.
A late renewal fee of $80 will be added to the regular price of renewal. This fee is charged by the domain registry and is not one that we can waive. The total price will be $98, which is $18 for the regular renewal, plus the $80 late renewal fee. If you do not wish to pay the $80 fee, you may let the domain expiration process continue and attempt to register the domain again at the regular price, once it has completely expired.
Please note that someone else may purchase the domain first, in which case you will be unable to register it again.
Please let me know what you would like to do.

Hey Josh, thanks for the info. I’m ok paying the additional fee. Let’s do whatever it takes to get the domain back as soon as possible. Let me know what I need to do next.

I have contacted the registrar and will let you know as soon as I hear back from them. It typically takes ~24 hours for a reply.
