you are so sweet to reply even when you’re on retreat… let me explain more fully: we’re about to pull the trigger on moving my wife’s domain, saralaschever.com over to wordpress and import her content into a better WP template. We wanted to do this while keeping the old site live, but I put in the new domain servers early and having trouble switching back.
So on this page:
https://members.nearlyfreespeech.net/triley60/domains/saralaschever.com/ns?I’ve re-entered these domains:
ns.phx6.nearlyfreespeech.net
ns.phx3.nearlyfreespeech.netBut as of this morning, this address: http://saralaschever.com/
bounces to this one:
https://saralaschever.wordpress.com/Why can’t we keep saralaschever.com from bouncing? ONce it gets registered with WP, it stays there permanently…?
(we have found inconsistencies, perhaps due to cache issues…)
Any way to reset the servers and keep the old site live until we’re ready to switch over once new site completed? Thanks PLENTY in advance for any tips, Tim

Hi there,
Your domain is loading the WordPress.com site because that location was cached in your browser while the name servers were briefly pointed here. The domain loads your old site for me.
If you clear your browser cache it should for you as well, and it will only load the WordPress.com site again once you point the name servers back to us.
