Researching CMS and Front-End Capabilities
-
Greetings,
I am a full-stack software engineer who is assisting a friend in getting her business up and running online. I would prefer to speak with someone over the phone however, if the best we can do is communicate via email, that will have to work and I will attempt to communicate my questions clearly and concisely.
My friend has leadership training business and, while I am aware Word Press offers the means to host downloadable content, I have some very specific questions about back-end form handling in particular, as she develops online tests, how do we process test results, communicate test results, as well as create and databases and tables to store and update user progress and user test scores?
If you are able to direct me to specific plugins or engage in a conversation over the phone that would work. I know how to build all this functionality from scratch and, perhaps it will work best for me to create this for her or create a plugin however, with over 50,000 plugins I am hoping someone else has already created this functionality. We must get these questions answered before we are able to purchase the Word Press subscription as it is imperative to know what is possible before we begin the process.

I see you posted the same question here: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/plugin-editor/
With this in mind I am closing this post and marking it as a duplicate, but you are welcome to continue to reply in the other thread, thanks!
