Resend confirmation email

  Hello,
  I have setup my wordpress blog but can’t post because I need to confirm my email. The problem is that wordpress is not sending an email when hitting the button “Resend confirmation email”.
  I use gmail and checked all folders incl spam. Also tried alternative emailaddresses but nothing seems to work.

  Thanks but checked also the “social” tab but no email.
