Resend Email

    Hi there, I’m trying to purchase a WordPress Annual Plan but before I do so, I want to make sure my email address is properly linked up. I have tried to resend the activation link to my email address many times (upwards of 20 times spread across three weeks) and it has never arrived.

    Can anyone help?

    Hi there,

    You may have an email delivery problem for receiving WordPress.com emails to the email address in question.

    1.) Are you able to receive other emails from WordPress.com?
    For example, in “wordpress.com/me/notifications”, you may want to turn on email notifications for Comments and Likes, then do a comment or like for a test blog post.
    2.) Have you tried to whitelist emails from WordPress.com?
    3.) Is your email address provided by one of those free email services or from a web hosting company? If the latter, you may want to contact them.

    , for issues like this it’s best to tag the thread for staff – it takes us only a few seconds to check an accounts’s activation status, and in a case like this where an account is a few months old and unverified it usually requires manual verification on our end, so it’s not something someone can resolve on their own :)

    He can still do some self-debugging in the mean time, no? After all, one or two self testing is not harmful and the results may even help the staff later on.

    If he is having an email issue between WordPress.com and his email inbox, even his account is manually verified in the end, he may still has a problem that needs to be solved.

    An email delivery issue can be an infrastructure/client-server config problem, not just ticking a box problem.
