Reserved Blog
-
Hi!
Some years ago, I self-hosted a wordpress.org blog whose address was inzenite.org
Today, I would really appreciate create a free wordpress.com account with the address inzenite.wordpress.com, but the register form tells me that that address is reserved.
Is there any kind of possibility to transfer the free domain?
Thanks in advance :)

Hello @mariosousa2013,
If the site is showing as reserved, it means that someone else already owns the username that matches that address. Only that user will be able to register that address. Unfortunately, if that is not your username, there is no way for you to gain ownership of that address. We’re not able to reassign reserved URLs.
If you own that other username you will need to log in as that account. You can use the username to reset your password, provided you have access to the email address you’d used for that account, here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Kind Regards,
Chelsea

Hi there,
If a blog address is reserved, it means there is a username that matches that address. So in this case only the username, inzenite, is able to register that free address.
If that username is yours but you can’t remember the login details, you will need to follow our account recovery steps to regain access to that account first. Once you are able to log in as that account you’ll be able to register that address.
We have no way of otherwise transferring that address to your account.
