Reserved Domain

  So I’d love to start a blog with a certain domain but I receive a message that notifies me it’s “reserved”. By whom? May I get in contact with this person? I’d really love this domain; if anyone knows how please let me know!

  I’m sorry but that’s not possible. When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
